Although this standard only directly affects broadcasters at present, it is certain to have some impact on the way we all create and optimise mixes in the near future.
Most DAWs are reasonably well equipped when it comes to basic needs such as mid - side metering and audio vectorscopes, but the recent introduction of the Loudness Metering standard has skew playing field somewhat.
